Microsoft is Forcing People to Use its Latest Browser Even if They Don’t Want to

It’s not a computer issue. It is widely discussed, see article in the Verge. As someone else said, I also used Task Manager to close it, but it has come back several times when my computer was restarted.

You must be having other issues with your computer as when I was presented with the Edge update upon login I was able to close the browser just fine. No, I had to do something similar as well; ctrl+alt+delet.

Now Microsoft has launched a new version of Edge that’s based on the same technologies that drive Chrome. The new Edge is a much better browser, and there are compelling reasons to use it. But you might still prefer to use Chrome, Firefox, or one of the many other browsers out there.
